Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Agarwal emphasized the paramount importance of the public in the democratic process, stating that every vote holds significant value. He urged all voters to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming festival of democracy on May 25th. Stressing the rarity of this opportunity, occurring only once every five years, he encouraged citizens not to squander it but rather take pride in contributing to the fortification of democracy through their votes.

The Chief Electoral Officer remarked that the high number of youth in our country due to which India is referred to as a young nation. He stressed the importance of youth understanding that their participation strengthens democracy. Calling upon the youth, he said that if they want to keep their voices strong, they must ensure their participation by voting in the festival of democracy. He reminded everyone that equal voting rights are guaranteed in the Constitution. Under the SVEEP campaign, women should be told that the value of their vote is equal to that of men. Therefore, he encouraged them to participate enthusiastically in the largest democracy festival and to cast their votes without any fear, choosing the right candidate.
